See it Or Don't See it: This is a tough one, you decide....
Quickie Review (no spoilers): WTWTA is a weird movie about a child's imaginary escape from the trouble he's in, for freaking out, and biting his mother. It's too deep for kids, and to shallow for adults. I didn't know if I was supposed to laugh, cry, care, or worry. It ended, exactly how you knew it would, and nothing of any real meaning took place before that. However, the creatures are super cool, and a nice break from computer crap. The music is good, the acting is good, and you'll WANT to love this movie. But you can't, because there just isn't enough to grab onto....

Trick R Treat is a fun little horror flick that feels like it sits right between a good direct to video movie and an OK theater movie. There's nothing wrong with that. It tells 4 stories at the same time, which at first can be a little too much, but everything progresses nicely and things come together in a way you can comprehend, and ultimately, follow to there outcome.... which happens to be where this movie shines, mostly... About midway, I started to wonder what the point of it all was, as the whole movie felt like a setup, without actually ever getting to the point, however, that is infact, the point... each of the 4 stories has a somewhat surprise ending, that make the journey through the movie worth it. Hot girls, a few laughs, cool twists, creepy soundtrack, acceptable acting, and SACKBOY, all add up to a winner in my book. Check it out.

Avatar, for all it's hype, is a standard, run of the mill, been there, done that movie, that steals it's plot and characters, from 100 stories told before it. In a few min, you could easly jot down extacyly how the next 2 hours of the movie are gonna play out. Right down to the sexy lady killing the big giant badguy marine. Thanks, but no thanks...
